Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a larger team of data scientists and analysts to identify and prioritize complex business opportunities that can be addressed through data-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define and execute advanced data science projects that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Oversee the extraction of insights from exceptionally large and complex datasets using various advanced tools and techniques.
- Guide the development and deployment of advanced predictive models and algorithms using statistical and AI/machine learning techniques.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and influence strategic decision-making.
- Implement data-driven solutions in various complex environments, ensuring integration with existing systems and processes.
- Stay at the forefront of the latest developments in data science and bring innovative ideas and technologies to the team.
- Lead efforts to monitor the performance of deployed models, algorithms, and the team's productivity, and optimize as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in data science, with a substantial amount in a leadership or management role.
- Expert-level programming skills in Python or a similar language.
- Proficiency in advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Extensive experience with advanced data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI.
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to influence at the executive level.
- Deep knowledge of Cloud technology and databases (Cloud AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Expertise in customer relationship management, customer experience, next best action, insight, and pattern discovery.
