WE ARE LOOKING FOR .....A creative stats nerd who plays 2 key roles within our newly formed digital channel which are:
- Responsible for ensuring successful end to end delivery of data science initiatives. These initiatives range from customer retention, lead generation, cross selling and fraud detection.
- Develop real world methodologies for experimentation and causal inference in the digital space.
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Creatively solve business problems using advanced statistical analyses and machine learning techniques.
• Design, execute experiments and discover new insights to develop an understanding of consumer behavior based on experiment outcomes.
• Develop machine learning pipelines to streamline and automate deployment of models.
• Track and improve performance of data science solutions developed.
• Work with engineers to improve the data collection process.
• Partner with diverse business functions to identify & prioritize opportunities where data science can add value and provide analytics solutioning / quick prototypes that are relevant to business needs in the areas of (not limited to) persona development, signal / propensity based targeting, data-driven personalization & messaging capability, full cycle leads targeting, fraud detection, cross selling/ up selling, etc.
• Research and experiment with state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and tools
• Implement and manage a high standard of documentation.

• Background in behavioral economics or research is an added advantage
• Strong mathematical, statistical or actuarial background
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in data science, analytics, scientific research, business consulting, computing or similar data-driven roles
• Extensive experience in the complete modeling lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and continual monitoring and maintenance
• Proficient in Python and R or other statistical and scientific tools
• Preferably has experience in machine learning engineering
• Preferably familiar with Azure tools for data science
• Preferably familiar with data visualization techniques using one or more packages such PowerBI, Tableau or D3 visualisation
• Results oriented. You can cut to the core of a problem, identify what needs to be done and work with the teams to get products launched
• A talent for constructive communication of ideas, issues and solutions in a team environment
• Extremely motivated to continue learning and growing
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong business acumen, project and people management skills
• Ability to build relationships in an international environment with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at different levels of the organization
