The Data Specialist role offers an exciting opportunity to research, validate, and maintain high-quality technical product and vehicle data that supports the global automotive and mobility aftermarket.

We are currently hiring for two specialisations:

  • Data Specialist – Automotive Spare Parts
  • Data Specialist – Off-Highway Equipment (OHI)

In this role, you will research, collect, validate, and analyse technical data to ensure the highest standards of data quality and accuracy. Working closely with global colleagues and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to delivering reliable data solutions that support our customers and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to company workflows, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and data quality standards.
  • Conduct market research and analyse automotive and industry-related information across the Southeast Asia (SEA) region.
  • Research, collect, validate, and maintain automotive, spare parts, vehicle, or off-highway equipment data from reliable sources.
  • Investigate and verify collected information to ensure data accuracy and completeness before entering it into company systems.
  • Identify and correct data quality issues in accordance with established workflows and procedures.
  • Analyse collected information and prepare reports to support business and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with Team Coordinators, Team Leads, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time.
  • Support continuous process improvements and contribute to maintaining high data quality standards.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • 1–3 years of relevant working experience in data management, automotive, off-highway equipment, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of either:
    • The automotive aftermarket, including spare parts, dealerships, workshops, service centres, or parts distribution; or
    • The off-highway equipment industry, including construction, agriculture, mining, forestry, heavy equipment, or material handling equipment.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Access, or data analysis tools is an advantage.
  • Good written and spoken English.
