Database Administrator

Job Description: (DBA)

Must have-Oracle Golden Gate skill.

- Responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle database environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

- Administer Oracle database architecture, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, and day-to-day operational support.

- Collaborate with application teams, infrastructure engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless database operations and support critical business applications.

- Participate in on-call rotation to provide timely support and incident resolution.

Job Requirements:

Required Skills:

- Minimum 3 years of Oracle Database administration experience (11g/12c/19c or higher)

- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, backup/recovery (RMAN), and performance tuning

- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database/ SQL performance tuning.

- Experience with database installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations

- Linux/Unix environment experience and shell scripting skills

Preferred Skills:

- Oracle GoldenGate experience for data replication and real-time data integration

- Oracle certifications (OCA/OCP)

- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager, Data Guard, or Oracle RAC
