Your new role
- Administering and managing existing database clusters and individual databases (using Iaac tools like Terraform).
- Designing database structures and collaborating with other teams to achieve technical alignment.
- Building and setting up new database clusters.
- Implementing backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies for database systems.
- Creating and maintaining technical and non-technical documentation for database systems and related tooling.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong knowledge and practical experience as an administrator (DBA) with PostgreSQL.
- Working knowledge of AWS, sufficient for efficient day-to-day operations.
- Basic knowledge of Python, or a willingness to learn the basics.
- A solid foundational understanding of Linux.
- Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
