Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain highly available relational databases, specifically AWS RDS (MySQL).
- Secure databases with best practices for encryption, access control, and patching.
- Implement cost-optimization strategies, such as rightsizing and storage management.
- Provide technical guidance and support across our internal team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business unit teams to ensure the process aligns with organization standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in relevant field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in relational databases such as MySQL, AWS RDS etc.
- Strong expertise in SQL, troubleshooting & optimization.
- Knowledge of cloud networking (VPC, Subnets, Security Group, etc).
- Knowledge of cloud monitoring, backup/snapshot management and automated recovery strategies is a must.
- AWS certifications is a plus.
- Experience in P2V & EC2 to RDS migration is a plus.
- Ability to speak & converse in both English & Chinese.

Working Hours:
- 24x7 on-site shift rotation with competitive shift allowance (5 days of work per week)
