Role Summary
Track the Post-Warranty M&S on new product deals for all global customer accounts.
In close coordination with the M&S Sales team, Sales and Project teams, track, document and analyze all booked deals with goal to achieve accurate post-warranty M&S forecasting, maximize future post-warranty bookings and to monitor status of ongoing projects where post-warranty M&S is applicable.
Mine and build data files for tracking End of Life, M&S Uplifts, M&S rates vs sold license, 3rd party costs, and other M&S related items.
Assist M&S Sales team with back-end tasks related to bid approvals, fee calculation and proposal generation.
Assist with custom reports from Dynamics and data mining activities on ad-hoc basis as needed.
Build and maintain M&S costing tool via Excel using advanced features and macros.
Key Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities as follows:
Warranty / M&S
Ensure that for every booked CAPEX PO, the Support / Warranty records are reflected accurately in Dynamics which includes the following:
- Correct Start and End dates.
- Expected post-warranty revenues and rates.
To correct any errors in Warranty / Support records made by Sales teams during PO Approval process.
For all booked CAPEX deals, to accurately forecast and document all new future post-warranty M&S revenues on a Monthly basis.
To coordinate with Sales teams, M&S Team and Project teams on ongoing projects that have entail future post-warranty M&S revenues, to track
any deviation or delays to project dates in post-warranty M&S revenues.
To build a map of M&S renewals vs new post-warranty revenues for each quarter and year, with the split defined in Dynamics for reporting on.
To document incremental reduced post-warranty M&S that is reduced versus an existing legacy renewal and to understand exactly why.
End of Life, M&S Uplifts, M&S rates vs sold license, 3rd party costs, and other M&S related items
Build and maintain data files for tracking.
To validate the Agreements (if applicable) to ensure that any non-standard or discounted M&S rates are valid.
M&S costing tool
Build and maintain M&S costing tool via Excel using advanced features and macros.
Regular coordination with Operations team to ensure cost tool metrics are regular and to be adjusted as necessary.
