We're looking for a Social Media & Marketing Intern from July 2026 onwards for at least

6 months with exceptional creativity to join the Def Jam SEA family who meets the following criteria:

Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

• Writing captions for social media postings that reflect the Def Jam SEA voice.
• Assisting in planning and uploading content on various social platforms.
• Conceptualising, filming and editing short-form video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok, with strong storytelling, hooks, and platform-first formats.
• Creating engaging video edits using music videos, behind-the-scenes footage, UGC, trends, memes and existing assets to produce scroll-stpping content.topping content.
• Assisting in ideation for social-first campaigns and video concepts that align with artist releases.
• Assisting in content research on current music, entertainment, and social media trends.
• Organizing and keeping tabs on the release calendar.
• Staying up-to-date with digital trends in social media and the creative marketing industry.
• Create and produce high-quality, engaging content with a strong attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate or recent Marketing graduate from local universities.
• Skilled in graphic design and video editing software (Canva, Final Pro, iMovie, CapCut).
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint).
• Has a strong sense of focus and attention to detail ensuring quality of work is never compromised
• Naturally has strong project and time management skills.
• Appreciates open communication and proactively provides updates to the team.
• Has a pulse on music, entertainment and content landscape.
