As part of our expansion into Web3 content and ecosystem analysis, we are looking for a DeFi Strategy Analyst to strengthen our research and editorial coverage of decentralized finance.

About the Role

This is a research and analysis position. You will study decentralized finance ecosystems, digital asset trends, on-chain activity, and emerging Web3 infrastructure, then translate your findings into clear, accurate, and educational content for our audience.

To be explicit about scope: this role does not involve fundraising, investment solicitation, financial advising, or managing client or third-party funds. We will never ask you to handle user assets, and you will never be asked to request wallet access or financial information from anyone.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze DeFi protocols, digital asset trends, and Web3 infrastructure developments
• Monitor on-chain activity, liquidity flows, wallet behavior, and broader crypto market trends
• Produce research notes, market observations, and educational commentary for publication
• Track developments across Ethereum, Solana, Layer 2 ecosystems, stablecoins, staking, bridges, and liquidity platforms
• Use on-chain analytics tools to support data-driven insights and reporting
• Collaborate with editorial and content teams to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance in published material
• Maintain awareness of regulatory and risk considerations relevant to educational coverage of digital assets

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience using DeFi protocols
• Active familiarity with Ethereum, Solana, Layer 2 ecosystems, stablecoins, staking, bridges, and liquidity platforms
• Solid understanding of on-chain behavior, wallet activity, liquidity flows, and crypto market dynamics
• Experience with analytics tools such as Dune, Nansen, Arkham, DefiLlama, CoinGecko, or similar
• Ability to translate technical and on-chain data into clear written research and educational content
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to accuracy

Preferred Experience

• Prior work in research, analysis, journalism, or content creation within crypto or fintech
• A crypto-native mindset and active participation in blockchain ecosystems
• Familiarity with smart contract fundamentals and the broader Web3 tooling landscape
• Comfort working independently in a distributed, asynchronous environment
