Position Purpose
- Use analytical, marketing, and sales data to effectively estimate future product demands, analyzing inventory flow and generating forecasting solutions
- Responsible to fulfill customers demand cost effectively
- Lead Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) to continually achieve focus & alignment on forecast plan, inventory plan & exposure risk (if any)
Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Validate & maintain sales history and coordinate with Demand Creation department (Sales & Marketing) to ensure understanding of and inclusion of future promotional information and new products in forecast.
- Review forecast with Regional Sales Manager / Key Account Manager with fact-based discussion, trend, marketing building block, Average Daily Sales etc.
- Responsible on weekly operational forecast generation & adjustment with sales & marketing team.
- Coordinate New Product Development (NPD) to ensure the right timing of outage.
- Conduct demand planning portion of weekly S&OE meeting. Decision making for 13 weeks supply plan if got any risk on Out of Stock.
- Responsible to identify total company volume gap rolling estimate vs target with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Monitor and report important changes in sales forecasts, trade offer plans & business strategies.
- Analyze weekly Forecast Accuracy, conduct root cause analysis of error and lead or support resolution.
- Timely update on daily, weekly & monthly reports.
- Measure and benchmark demand planning process in order to improve the accuracy of demand management.
- Lead determination of forecasting methods, modeling history to use, and most likely demand curves for new product introductions and discontinuation.
- Monitor overstock by connecting sales & marketing on clearance plan as well as warehouse on execution to minimize write off.
- Support on improving fulfilment rate by monitoring stock level of transition SKU (generic & promo SKU, new formula SKU) and discontinued SKU. Lead the communication to sales, logistic (sales admin), warehouse and NPD.
- Provide supply chain expertise to external parties (e.g., Sales & Marketing, Warehouse, Logistic) in order to influence business strategies and decisions
- Responsible to keep a clean, accurate and readily available database of demand and supply chain information to be used in working file
- Responsible on Brunei forecast, order plan & execution part
Qualification Criteria
- Minimum Degree in Business Management with Supply Chain/Logistics focus preferred or any other relevant field.
- At least 5 - 7 years experience in Sales Analytic / Supply Chain Planning Department.
- Knowledge and use of existing information Systems (SAP & BI) to generate necessary data.
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis; evaluate statistical signals; determine data errors and ability to fix.
- Strong Excel & experience in power BI is a plus
