The Demand & Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring
optimal balance between customer demand and supply
capabilities. This role forecasts demand, plans material
requirements, monitors supply risks, and coordinates closely
with Procurement, Production, and Warehouse teams to
achieve on-time delivery and inventory efficiency.
1. Demand Planning
- Develop and maintain monthly demand
- forecasts based on sales, project, and historical data.
2. Supply Planning
- Convert demand into supply and material
- plans.
- Ensure timely sourcing and production readiness.
- Able to manage BOM list.
3. Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels, safety stock, and
- inventory days; highlight shortages or excess.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, and
- Warehouse to align demand and supply plans.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Track and report key planning KPIs (forecast accuracy, material availability, inventory).
- Support process documentation, audits, and
- continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirement
- Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics,
- Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in demand or
- material planning (manufacturing environment
- preferred).
- Strong analytical and Excel skills
- Familiar with ERP/WMS systems and supply chain
- documentation.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across
- departments.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under
- pressure with tight deadlines.
