Summary
You will be responsible to support the Chef de Partie in preparing high-quality Chinese cuisine and managing a specific kitchen section. This role is hands-on and focuses on maintaining food quality, consistency, and cleanliness, while developing culinary skills and contributing to a smooth kitchen operation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in Chinese cuisine.
- Basic knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques (e.g., stir-frying, steaming, roasting, dumpling preparation).
- Understanding of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of teamwork.
- Willingness to learn and grow under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Culinary education or certification is an advantage.
