Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

This role seeks qualified, motivated, and competent candidates to support the Policy Advisory and Enhancement Section within the Transaction Management (TM) Department. The main function is responsible for leading continuous process improvement initiatives to optimise operations, enhance service quality, ensure compliance, and improve customer experience. The role also supports the organisation's strategic goals by implementing systematic process enhancements, fostering operational excellence, and managing change effectively.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Process Improvement & Transformation

  • Analyse existing end-to-end operational processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and implement process optimisation, simplification, and standardisation initiatives across Transaction Management functions.
  • Apply methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Design Thinking, and process mapping to develop sustainable solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, turnaround time, quality, and cost efficiency.

2. Project Management & Implementation

  • Manage process improvement projects from proposal through implementation and post-implementation review.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and report outcomes and benefits to management.
  • Act as process owner or key sponsor for strategic improvement initiatives.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across TM sections and related departments.
  • Serve as a liaison between business operations and technology teams for automation and digitalisation initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops and engagement sessions to ensure stakeholder alignment and buy-in.

4. Governance, Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all improvement initiatives comply with EPF policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
  • Support quality management initiatives and promote a zero-defect mindset.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.

5. Leadership & Team Development

  • Guide and supervised officers and executives involved in process improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven, and problem-solving work culture.
  • Support team capability building, knowledge transfer, and performance management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Malaysian citizen.
  • Pass in Bahasa Melayu, including the oral test, at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree with Honours in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related fields from a local or overseas higher learning institution recognised by the Government of Malaysia.
  • Possess Professional certification in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2), or Design Thinking is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 7 - 10 years of relevant working experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or business transformation.
  • Experience in large organisations or regulated industries is preferred.
  • Experience in financial services or public sector organisations is an advantage.
