About the Job

Responsible for driving sales performance and delivering highquality support to partner financial institutions within the assigned region.

The role oversees a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) to ensure consistent service standards, strong partner engagement, and achievement of regional bancassurance targets.

This position plays a key leadership role in strengthening bank relationships, supporting frontline staff, and building a highperforming team dedicated to supporting business partners.

1. Sales Performance & Target Achievement

  • Achieve assigned regional bancassurance sales targets through effective planning, execution, and performance management. Covering both Advisory and Credit business.
  • Drive sales growth by actively monitoring performance metrics, identifying gaps, and implementing corrective action plans.
  • Support BDEs in improving productivity, conversion quality, and branch engagement activities.

2. Partner Bank Engagement & Support

  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and advisory support to partner banks, including OCBC and other financial institutions.
  • Conduct regular product briefings, refresher sessions, and capabilitybuilding workshops for bank branches.
  • Deliver marketing support to bank frontline teams to enhance product knowledge, customer engagement, campaign activation, and speaker for customer events.
  • Maintain close rapport with regional leaders, branch managers and sales staff to ensure strong collaboration and alignment to business objectives.

3. Customer & Banker Servicing

  • Attend to enquiries from bankers and customers with professionalism and timely followup.
  • Identify customer needs and support the bank's sales staff in offering suitable bancassurance solutions.
  • Facilitate escalations, case followups, and issue resolution to ensure smooth customer journeys and relationship strengthening.

4. Team Leadership & People Development

  • Lead, guide, and coach a team of BDEs to maintain strong service standards and fulfil commitments to partner banks.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, field coaching sessions, and performance reviews to build a highperforming and motivated team.
  • Ensure effective deployment of team resources across branches to maximise sales opportunities and partner support.

5. Relationship Building & Business Expansion

  • Strengthen partnerships with financial institutions through frequent engagement, joint planning, and execution of business initiatives.
  • Acquire increasing support from bank partners by demonstrating value, reliability, and deep product knowledge.
  • Collaborate with bank leadership to identify business opportunities and co-develop strategies to grow bancassurance penetration.

6. Operational Excellence & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, sales compliance standards, and bancassurance operating guidelines.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on sales performance, market feedback, and partner insights.
  • Support management initiatives and execute assigned projects in line with strategic priorities.

7. Ad Hoc Responsibilities

  • Undertake additional tasks and assignments as required by management to support overall business goals.

We are looking for people with

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or any related field (or equivalent working experience).
  • At least 710 years of experience in bancassurance, insurance sales, financial services, or sales leadership roles.
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead a team, drive performance, and manage partner relationships.
  • Strong customer focus, with the ability to identify needs and recommend suitable financial solutions.
  • High level of professionalism, responsibility, and ability to work independently.
  • Able to travel and work beyond normal office hours.
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
  • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
