Design Architect

The company operates from multiple regional offices, including Johor Bahru, Puchong, and Sibu.

Role Description The Design Architect role is a full-time, on-site position based in Johor Bahru or Puchong. This role involves developing architectural concepts and detailed designs, producing construction drawings, and coordinating design solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The Design Architect will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to translate requirements into practical, sustainable, and compliant designs. Daily tasks include design development, design documentation, participation in design reviews, and ensuring alignment with local regulations and company standards. The role also requires supporting design management activities, including coordination with external consultants and contributing to continuous improvement of design processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development and detailed design for various building types.
• Candidates should possess skills in Design Management, including coordinating multidisciplinary inputs and managing design deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Candidates should possess skills in producing and reviewing Construction Drawings, with attention to detail, constructability, and compliance with codes and standards.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear documentation, client interaction, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent professional qualification; professional registration or progress toward licensure is an advantage.
• Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools) and familiarity with local building regulations and industry standards.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary project environments, preferably in industrial developments.
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment.
