Salary: RM 4,500 – RM 5,500
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop, design, and bring our products and components to life. This position is ideal for Mechanical Engineering graduates seeking hands-on experience in product design and manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare design proposals, construction drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM) using AutoCAD and/or BIM software in line with project KPIs.
- Support the Head of Department and Sales & Business Development team with technical designs, engineering calculations, proposal drawings, and BOMs during tender and proposal stages.
- Develop accurate construction drawings for project execution and continuously maintain the Product Design Database and BOM library.
- Review and verify design outputs from designers and drafters, and coordinate incoming and outgoing design requests to ensure quality and consistency.
- Support ISO 9001 quality requirements while protecting confidential company information and contributing to efficient department operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in design engineering, technical support, engineering, maintenance, or a related field.
- Proficient in AutoCAD with experience producing engineering and construction drawings.
- Experience with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, or AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Experience preparing engineering calculations and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
