Design Engineer

Responsibilities: - 

• To perform preliminary and actual design calculations for pressure vessels, heat exchanger, etc.
• Maintain submission of documents drawings to the third parties agency, client and statutory bodies like DOSH.
• Prepare all cost data base for project pricing and cost estimation methodology.
• Direct, review and approve product design and changes.
• Prepare preliminary equipment material specification and material take off.
• To provide technical aspect on the design to meet client requirement and interpret standards such as ASME, TEMA, BS and etc.
• Maintain existing engineering records and designs.
• To perform any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as and when required.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Pressure Vessel, Heat Exchanger and Piping fabrication and installation especially in Oil and Gas Industry.
• Familiar with international code (ASME, TEMA, PTS, EN etc).
• Familiar with pv elite.
• Skilled in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project 2010 is an added advantage.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
