Our client is a multinational solar solution company located in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a talent in designing solar energy systems to be part of their team. You will play a pivotal role in preparing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for solar projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and optimize solar energy systems: Create and refine photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring they meet all technical, financial, and regulatory standards.
- Technical documentation: Develop detailed drawings, specifications, and project documentation using design software like AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Helioscope.
- Feasibility and performance analysis: Conduct studies and assessments to evaluate solar potential and system performance, ensuring optimal energy yield.
- Collaboration and compliance: Work with project managers, engineers, sales teams, and clients to develop tailored solar solutions, ensuring all designs adhere to local regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols.
- Technical support and innovation: Provide support during project implementation, stay updated on the latest solar technologies, and contribute to the development of new products and solutions to enhance the company's offerings.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in designing solar energy systems, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of solar PV system design, energy yield analysis, and grid integration, along with proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope) and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel for site assessments and client meetings.
