DevOps Engineer

Location: Petaling Jaya

Job Description:

• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).
• Administer and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters (EKS/ECS).
• Work with core AWS services including VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ALB, WAF, and CloudFront.
• Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
• AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure and application deployment.
• Proven track record in managing containerized environments (e.g., Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (preferablyAWS).
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, CI/CD best practices, and system observability (monitoring, logging, alerting).
• Proficient in Linux system administration and automation using scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead technical initiatives and work effectively across teams.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience provisioning AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
