Job Title: DevOps Engineer (Banking Domain)

Position Summary
We are seeking a mid-level DevOps Engineer with strong experience in the banking/financial services domain. The role will focus on building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring application reliability, and supporting development teams in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid software development background combined with hands-on DevOps expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment of banking applications.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth release processes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and deployment using industry-standard tools.
- Support application and infrastructure monitoring, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and release management processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Drive DevOps best practices, security compliance, and operational excellence in banking systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 36 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Strong background in software development and scripting (Python, Shell, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience in banking/financial services domain is mandatory.
- Good understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements in banking systems.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
- Exposure to microservices and API-based architectures.
- Knowledge of container orchestration and scaling strategies.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
