Job Title: DevOps Engineer / CI/CD Engineer
Location: Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to support and enhance our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating delivery pipelines, improving developer productivity, and ensuring platform reliability, scalability, and operational excellence across enterprise applications and infrastructure environments.
The candidate should possess strong troubleshooting capabilities, scripting experience, and hands-on exposure to cloud and container technologies, particularly Azure and Kubernetes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD platforms and deployment pipelines to improve software delivery efficiency and code quality.
- Develop and continuously enhance automation solutions for build, scan, test, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development and architecture teams to create reusable application templates and standardized DevOps practices.
- Provide technical guidance and operational support to development teams for improving solution performance, scalability, and operability.
- Monitor and manage DevOps platforms, integrations, and deployment environments to ensure high availability and service reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex production and platform-related issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent resolutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Infrastructure, Development, Security, and Architecture teams, to support release and operational activities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and best DevOps practices.
- Continuously evaluate emerging DevOps tools, technologies, and automation practices for process improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with one or more scripting/programming languages such as:
- Shell Scripting
- Python
- Helm
- ARM Templates
- Experience managing and maintaining CI/CD tools/platforms such as:
- GitHub Actions
- Jenkins
- Azure DevOps
- Bamboo
- Strong understanding of DevOps concepts, automation frameworks, and deployment pipelines.
- Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies is highly desirable.
- Understanding of infrastructure automation and configuration management practices.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications are an advantage.
