About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and impactful DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and scale the client's cloud infrastructure across the Malaysia and/or Singapore regions. • Containerization & Orchestration: Manage microservices deployment and scaling utilizing Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Cloud Management: Architect and optimize highly secure and cost-effective environments primarily built on AWS.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Automation: Build, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins) to facilitate seamless code deployment.
  • Monitoring & Observability: Set up proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack to ensure 99.9% uptime.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with software engineering teams to optimize application performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement security best practices (DevSecOps).

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Between 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or Cloud Systems Engineer.
  • Cloud Platform: Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, EKS).
  • Container Infrastructure: Deep expertise in Docker packaging and production-level Kubernetes administration.
  • Automation: Proven track record of managing production environments using Terraform for infrastructure automation.
  • Scripting: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or Go).
  • Communication: Strong collaborative and communication skills, with the ability to support distributed teams across Malaysia and Singapore.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
  • Experience with multi-cloud deployments or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with network security protocols, firewalls, and load balancers.
