Devops Engineer

Job Description :

• We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will be maintaining, and supporting GE's AWS cloud platform capabilities to enable secure, scalable, and reliable delivery of data, analytics, and GenAI use cases. This role will focus on AWS platform administration, DevOps automation, CI/CD pipeline support, Infrastructure as Code, cloud security configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support. The engineer will work with data engineering teams, data science teams, cloud platform teams, security teams, application teams, and operations teams to support enterprise cloud delivery and production readiness.
• Design, build, and support DevOps and CI/CD pipelines on AWS.
• Develop and manage AWS CloudFormation templates for infrastructure provisioning and environment deployment.
• Administer AWS platforms across non-production and production environments, ensuring security, availability, scalability, and reliability.
• Configure and manage AWS services including IAM, SCPs, VPC, security groups, Lambda, SageMaker, S3, DataSync, and CloudWatch.
• Collaborate with application, data engineering, and data science teams on cloud deployment, access setup, and platform integration.
• Monitor platform health, logs, metrics, and alerts; troubleshoot deployment, access, networking, quota, and performance issues.
• Enforce cloud security, governance, and compliance best practices (least privilege, logging, monitoring, change management). 

Requirements :

• Minimum of 3 years of working experience, must have experience in AWS administration and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and AWS core services.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, monitoring, and operational support.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot AWS platform, deployment, access, and performance issues.
• Background in DevOps, cloud/platform engineering, or infrastructure support preferred.
• Scripting or automation experience (Python, shell, YAML, JSON) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
