The Legal Entity Finance team seeks to enable business excellence by managing legal entity finance with high ethical standards and precision, through globally scalable, lean, and efficient financial processes, close collaboration across the financial and business ecosystems. About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in managing the financial governance and compliance of our legal entity. This position will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, overseeing legal entity management, and serving as a key liaison with our shared services center. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Entity Management & Governance:
- Act as the functional lead for e-Invoicing – MyInvois/ Edocument Cockpit
- Coordinate internal/external audits and prepare statutory reports and government statistical filings
- Ensure strict adherence to local GAAP, Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Lead the Intercompany lifecycle: from invoice validation and cost-plus recharges to settlements and dispute resolution
- Supervise Accounts Payable operations, including vendor payments, staff claims, and travel policy compliance
- Manage tax workstreams: SST/WHT reviews, corporate tax filings, stamp duty, and transfer pricing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for legal entity, including legal documents, accounting records and compliance filings
- Support M&A integration, IT system upgrades, and process optimization initiatives
Shared Services Center Liaison:
- Serve as the strategic liaison between the finance team and Global Business Services (GBS) to ensure seamless communication and alignment on business objectives
- Drive issue resolution by investigating and remediating complex financial data discrepancies and process bottlenecks
- Monitor GBS performance against established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and KPIs, specifically concerning legal entity management and data integrity
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar position.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial and tax regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent Business English & Malay.
