JOB SUMMARY
The digital partner for EPF's corporate and enterprise functions Finance (FSD), Human Resource, Strategy, and the CEO Office & Governance functions. The Digital Business Partner is a strategic partner to these businesses: driving digital and business-process transformation, shaping and prioritising demand across functions, leading business-case development and benefits realisation, and governing digital service performance ensuring that technology measurably advances enterprise efficiency, compliance, governance and decision-making. The role is a senior individual contributor reporting directly to the Head of Digital Service Management, balancing breadth across multiple corporate functions with depth of strategic partnership in each.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Business Partnership — act as the primary digital advisor to the leadership of Finance, HR, Strategy and CEO Office & Governance; translate their strategies, compliance obligations and priorities into a coherent technology and transformation agenda.
- Drive Business & Digital Transformation — lead the transformation of corporate and enterprise processes, financial management, procurement, payroll, talent, strategy/PMO, governance, risk and audit, driving automation, workflow simplification and data-driven decision-making.
- Business Case & Value Management — lead the development of business cases, cost–benefit analysis and benefits-realisation frameworks for corporate-function initiatives; quantify expected value and track realisation.
- Demand Shaping & Prioritisation — surface and shape demand across multiple corporate functions; maintain a consolidated, value-prioritised pipeline and balance competing needs against enterprise value.
- Roadmap Shaping — maintain a multi-quarter technology and transformation roadmap across the corporate functions, aligned to enterprise architecture and investment priorities.
- Service Governance & Performance — govern SLA / XLA and service performance for corporate function systems; run regular service reviews and provide consolidated service-health and risk reporting.
- Incident & Escalation Coordination — coordinate business-impacting incidents and escalations affecting corporate functions including sensitive governance, audit and confidential matters with appropriate communication and escalation protocols.
- Delivery & Operational Readiness — ensure corporate-function projects transition into operations with proper service readiness, support models, knowledge transfer and adoption; coordinate PMO, application, infrastructure, cybersecurity and vendor teams.
- Stakeholder & Relationship Leadership — build and sustain trusted relationships with HODs and senior stakeholders across the corporate functions; maintain relationship strategies and grow partnership maturity.
- Reporting & Governance — provide service, transformation, risk and value insights to the management board reporting where required.
- Continual Service Improvement & Innovation — identify and drive automation, optimisation and innovation opportunities that improve corporate-function efficiency, compliance and user experience.
- Risk, Compliance & Governance — ensure services and changes align with technology-risk, confidentiality, security and governance expectations, particularly for governance, risk, audit and integrity functions.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Malaysian citizen
- Passed the Malay Language (including oral test) at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is an added advantage.
- Minimum 13 years relevant experience across IT service delivery / management, business relationship management, digital transformation or technology consulting, including experience partnering senior stakeholders in a large or regulated organisation.
- Proven track record of leading digital and business-process transformation and of developing business cases with quantified value.
- Strong working knowledge of ITSM / ITIL, service management, SLA / XLA, project delivery and technology-risk management.
- Domain familiarity with corporate-function systems — finance/ERP, HR/payroll (HRMS), procurement, and governance, risk and audit platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, facilitation and senior communication skills across multiple corporate functions.
- Preferred certifications: Business Relationship Management (BRMP / CBRM), ITIL 4, TOGAF, PMP / PRINCE2, or a SFIA-aligned professional certification.
