The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Digital Growth & Channels Assistant Manager to drive revenue growth across our digital and sales channels.
You will be involved across the full digital funnel - from traffic acquisition to conversion to repeat purchase - across e-marketplaces and our own websites.
This is a highly execution-focused role with direct impact on sales performance.
In addition, you will serve as the on-the-ground anchor for the Penang office, helping to provide structure, stability and accountability across the cross-functional team.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Channel Growth
• Drive sales across e-marketplaces (e.g. Shopee, Lazada, Amazon) and brand.com
• Support expansion into additional channels including retail, partnerships and distributors
• Monitor daily sales performance and take action to improve results
• Optimise pricing, bundles, promotions and offers
Digital Growth & Traffic
• Support and optimise traffic channels such as Google Ads, GEO, SEO and other acquisition sources
• Track traffic sources, user behaviour and conversion performance
• Work with external partners or agencies where needed while remaining hands-on
• Continuously test and improve what drives revenue
CRM, eDM & Retention
• Execute CRM initiatives including email marketing and customer engagement
• Plan and support eDM campaigns
• Track campaign performance (open rates, conversion, repeat purchase)
• Identify opportunities to improve customer retention and lifetime value
Website & Conversion Optimisation
• Support improvements to our brand websites
• Manage and update website content using WordPress
• Optimise landing pages, product pages and user journey
• Implement and manage tracking tools such as pixels and analytics (e.g. Meta Pixel, Google Analytics)
• Ensure accurate tracking of campaigns and conversions
Marketing Execution & Brand Control
• Coordinate and review content across social media and campaigns
• Identify high-performing content and replicate successful formats
• Liaise with external agencies and ensure deliverables meet brand standards
• Ensure consistency and appropriateness of brand messaging
Campaign & B2B Support
• Support marketing and sales campaigns across consumer and B2B channels
• Assist with outreach initiatives where relevant (e.g. LinkedIn campaigns)
• Track performance of campaign codes and partnerships
Team Co-ordination
• Oversee execution by junior team members (e.g. e-commerce support)
• Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Step in to execute when required
Office Leadership & Presence
• Act as the most senior on-site team member in the Penang office
• Provide day-to-day presence and be a dependable point of contact for cross-functional team members
• Support team members across functions (Finance, Admin, E-Commerce)
• Encourage accountability, ownership and follow-through
• Contribute to a positive, stable and collaborative team environment
What We Are Looking For
• 4–6 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing or related roles
• Hands-on experience with e-marketplaces (e.g. Shopee, Lazada) and/or WooCommerce
• Exposure to performance marketing (e.g. Google Ads, GEO, SEO)
• Familiarity with CRM and email marketing tools
• Understanding of website analytics and tracking (e.g. Google Analytics, pixels)
• Strong execution mindset with attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
• Takes ownership and follows through on tasks
Cross-Border Communication & Collaboration
• Comfortable working with teams across different countries, working styles and cultures
• Able to communicate clearly, proactively and with sufficient detail to avoid ambiguity
• Willing to overcommunicate when needed to ensure alignment and execution
