Role Summary
The Assistant Digital Operations Manager supports the delivery of key digital initiatives that enhance omnichannel capabilities across markets. You will assist in the evaluation of e-commerce fulfilment systems, support the adoption of emerging technologies, and help execute group-wide digital planning. This is a project-based role where you will work alongside team members to ensure strategic goals are translated into actionable, market-ready solutions.

Digital Fulfilment & Omnichannel Solutioning
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and planning digital fulfilment solutions, including systems for e-commerce picking, in-store operations, and last-mile orchestration.
- Provide administrative and operational support during RFI/RFP processes, ensuring documentation and business requirements are organized and aligned.
Strategic Project Support(CoE-Directed)
- Contribute to high-priority digital initiatives by supporting the research and documentation of AI use cases, automation tools, and cross-market opportunities.
- Assist in evaluating project feasibility and operational impact, providing ground-level support to local teams during initial planning stages.
Regional Advisory & Knowledge Sharing
- Serve as a point of contact for omnichannel and e-commerce project inquiries in selected business units, assisting with the preparation of guidance materials.
- Help maintain and update tools, templates, and playbooks to support digital readiness and capability building across the region
Collaboration & Alignment
- Work with CoE peers, PMO, Group IT, and business stakeholders to assist in the efficient execution of project tasks.
- Support the Senior manager in gathering data and framing information for communications to senior leadership.
Do you have experience in Digital and Retail
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in digital strategy, e-commerce, or retail operations is required.
- Retail Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the retail/FMCG industry, consumer behaviour, and market trends. Experience with offline store supply chain digitalization is a plus.
- Digital Skills: Familiarity with digital technologies, e-commerce platforms, data analytics, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools.
- Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to understand financial metrics and business goals to support growth.
- Stakeholder Management: Good interpersonal and communication skills to assist in building relationships and working with cross-functional teams.
- Language: Proficiency in English. Additional language skills (Chinese, Cantonese, Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Indonesia, or Vietnamese) are highly desirable.
