We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support pricing management, supplier management, cost analysis, and reporting functions. This position plays a key role in ensuring pricing accuracy, maintaining supplier competitiveness, and supporting overall operational efficiency within the organization.
Pricing & Cost Management
- Maintain and update monthly pricing database and standard cost information.
- Review and verify supplier quotations, invoices, and price adjustments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Perform pricing checks to identify discrepancies between purchase orders and supplier invoices.
- Support cost reduction initiatives and participate in supplier price negotiations.
- Monitor engineering or specification changes and ensure correct cost updates.
Supplier & Sourcing Management
- Source reliable and cost-effective suppliers for direct materials and indirect purchases.
- Manage daily purchasing activities, including issuing purchase orders and coordinating delivery schedules.
- Work closely with Engineering and internal stakeholders to align material specifications and requirements.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers
Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct cost analysis and track savings initiatives.
- Monitor cost performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly procurement and cost reports.
- Assist in consolidating data and preparing presentations for management review.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with minimum 5 years experience.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with numbers and data.
- Proficient in Excel (data analysis skills are an advantage).
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Experience working in the semiconductor industry is an added advantage.
