Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Direct Sales Executive (Cards) role based in Kuala Lumpur. The Direct Sales Executive (Cards) is responsible for promoting and selling AEON credit card products directly to potential customers through face-to-face engagements at branches, retail outlets, events, and designated locations. Daily activities include identifying prospects, explaining card features and benefits, performing needs-based financial discussions, and guiding customers through the application and verification process in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves meeting individual and team sales targets, accurately updating customer information, and working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth application processing and activation. The Direct Sales Executive (Cards) also handles basic customer inquiries, provides after-sales support, and represents the AEON brand with a professional and customer-focused approach.
Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and Communication skills, with the ability to explain financial products clearly and build rapport with diverse customers.
  • Proven Sales capabilities, including prospecting, closing deals, and consistently achieving or exceeding targets in a direct sales or field sales environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with solid Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve basic issues, and provide a positive experience throughout the card application process.
  • Basic understanding of Finance concepts related to credit cards, repayment, and responsible borrowing; ability to adhere to compliance and risk guidelines.
  • Awareness of Insurance and related financial protection products is an advantage, especially when cross-selling within the AEON ecosystem.
  • Minimum secondary school education; a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is an added benefit.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced
