Integrated Algorithms is searching for an experienced algorithmic trader to lead a team towards excellence in Malaysia.

Director, Automated Trading

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Automated Trading based in Malaysia, will be responsible for the build, deployment and day to day operations of a new business unit in Asia.

As part of an emerging focus on the Asian region, the role will involve the development of unique and powerful long-short trading strategies to enhance overall business unit alphas. The new algorithms will supplement the expanding network currently deployed, that targets a diverse variety of financial instruments.

With a range of asset classes to target, the establishment of a vision of Integrated Algorithm's responsibilities in the region as a market maker, will be a significant project to be undertaken by the successful candidate.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual to drive the organization forward, not just through the precision of rules-based trading, but through the development of a distinct business division.

This opportunity will provide the ability to grow as a professional within the financial markets industry and to learn more about other business units within the organization. While also collecting crucial Institutional trading experience.

The required skills for the role include:

§ Bachelor's degree/Master's degree or PHD in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.

§ At least 8 years of expert and demonstrated technical expertise in Python.

§ A proven track record of achieving Sharpe ratios >4% at Institutional level.

§ Proficiency with a variety of trading platforms including Meta Trader.

§ Significant and proven understanding of global FX and Equity markets.

§ Strong familiarity with how financial markets function and contemporary financial theory.

§ The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

§ Strong risk management skills.

§ Leadership skills and at least 5 years of proven history in managing an effective team.

§ Experience in the development of a new or unique business segment, contributing to success from the primary years through to business segment maturity.

Total Annual remuneration: 110,000 MYR plus potential Bonus/Incentives
