Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Technical and disciplinary leadership and responsibility of the automation team (engineering, cyber security, and maintenance)
- Development and updating of the automation front-end roadmap for Kulim
- Responsibility for increasing the degree of automation in material flow processes and ensuring the high availability of automation components through continuous improvement and stability measures.
- Coordinating and ensuring the implementation of automation projects, including cost and time control.
- Budget planning/responsibility for the implementation of new projects and sustaining measures
- Promotion of competence management in the automation team
- Responsibility for increasing the degree of automation in material flow processes in close cooperation with the production areas and associated change processes, including training, education measures and coaching
- Strengthening the interface work between automation suppliers and Infineon's internal organizational units (central software development, maintenance, modules, cross-location best practices)
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Successfully completed a degree in production and automationengineering, manufacturing engineering, or another technical orscientific field
- 12+ years relevant working experience, best in the semiconductor industry
- Already gained experience management (5+ years ) in the disciplinary of heterogeneous teams and have project management skills
- Several years of professional experience in the field of automation of high-tech manufacturing or logistics areas
- Open-minded personality with strategic and team player mindset and feel comfortable in a responsible interface role
- Results-oriented personality with a passion for designing and implementing change
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Very good English skills
