He or She will lead and provide guidance on general accounting activities, including tax, corporate finance, treasury, statutory reporting etc. Review annual financial results and provide meaningful insights into financial information. Prepare presentations for Group, Board of Director and support analyst briefings.
Job Responsibilities :
Develop and oversee the implementation of the Group's accounting processes and strong internal controls to ensure governance over accounting and reporting activities.
Manage key external relationships to drive timely/quality external statutory financial reporting and keep up-to-date on finance matters.
Manage relationship with banks and tax agents
Formulate and oversee the implementation of the Group's tax policy and controls to ensure consistent application across countries.
Drive all matters related to corporate finance, treasury, working capital management, foreign exchange, etc.
Drive timely and accurate recording of accounting transactions, including month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with local accounting standards.
Review accounts analysis and reconciliations to ensure variances and discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
Provide clear and effective communication of financial data and insights to non-financial stakeholders
Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial reports (profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow statements, etc.) for internal monthly presentation and external presentation for full-year and quarterly reporting to Stock Exchange.
Support the preparation of Board of Directors presentations and analyst briefings
Support Finance Transformation projects.
Support M&A activities for the organization.
Monitor compliance to the Group Treasury policy and practices on internal and external reporting requirements to ensure consistent internal reporting and compliance to external regulatory requirements.
Maintain the treasury management system, providing full systems/process documentation and controls as part of operating a robust systems architecture.
Participate in the Group's special projects/initiatives to improve treasury/cash management processes, activities, reporting, etc.
Oversee the external audit process and lead interactions with auditors specifically during the annual review process.
Job Requirements :
Degree or professional qualification in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline
Minimum eight to ten years experience in a similar role
Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of the business and industry.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge and application of local/international accounting standards, principles and practices.
Proven hands-on experience in SAP accounting applications is an advantage.
Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills.
Set direction and cascade team/function goals to ensure goals are well-defined and clearly communicated.
Drive and manage learning and development of team in the area of Finance and Accounting and DKSH behavior to achieve team/function goals.
Manage a diversified team of close to 15 headcounts
Be a champion for digital and technological advancement within the Finance team
