Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to see the overall picture and provide strategic advice and input to the Management team. Good understanding of company culture and working environment. Ability to embrace and adapt to ever-changing priorities, business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong commercial acumen to identify industry trends, capturing emerging opportunities and investing to build the right teams and infrastructure for sustainable growth and growing profitability.
  • Advising Management on emerging new segments such as digital assets and developing strategies to best place TMF to be on the forefront of industry.
  • Process improvement management, development of performance metrics and adapting new global TMF policies to local environment to increase process efficiency and enhance risk management for dynamic operating environment.
  • Maintain strong Fund operations oversight, which includes deliverables of NAV calculations (based on frequency), unit pricing, transaction processing, settlement and investor record-keeping.
  • Good people skills and talent management for groups of more than 20 staff, including coaching and building future leaders and training junior colleagues to ensure alignment and compliance with TMF governance and operational frameworks.
  • To develop, interface and maintain clients relationship management is a key aspect of the position, including expanding relationships with industry intermediaries, regulators, institutional investors and asset managers.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant regulations by incorporating robust governance, risk management, and controls, including preparation of regulatory reports where required.
  • Strong understanding of TMF Group service lines to facilitate cross sell our service lines via client solutioning. This includes the ability to assemble and work with other parts of TMF Group to drive change and deliver the best for clients.
  • Comfortable with technology and AI to embed new technologies into the business-as-usual environment for better outcomes, including evaluating and selecting appropriate AI tools and use of complex systems
  • Ability to interface with client's C-level and senior management is a must as this role requires the ability to engage clients at industry events and to do business development.

Added advantage:

  • Proven experience in administering open-ended funds and familiarity with Shariah-compliant structures
  • Understanding of tokenized funds and blockchain-based asset administration

Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder in accountancy or business-related discipline
  • A minimum of 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in fund administration firms or fund management organizations.
  • Sound knowledge of fund operations, tax & banking procedures and regulatory requirements including Shariah transactions
  • Professional qualification holder and/or member of professional body preferred
  • People and team management experience
