Role Overview
Hepmil Malaysia is looking for a Director of Influencer Partnerships. This role is responsible for building, scaling, and nurturing a world-class creator and community ecosystem that powers our campaigns and content initiatives. This role leads strategic efforts across creator acquisition, engagement, development, and community integration ensuring we have a deep, diverse, and agile network that delivers value at scale for our clients.
This leader will spearhead creator-focused programs, grassroots partnerships, and volume-based campaign supply with a clear goal of maintaining cultural relevance, geographic inclusivity, and operational speed.
Key Responsibilities
1. Creator Network Development
- Lead the sourcing, onboarding, and retention of creators across tiers (from emerging UGC talents to celebrity-tier influencers).
- Develop creator engagement programs (e.g., workshops, parties, networking events) to strengthen relationships and improve content output.
- Build specialized networks, including:
- Affiliates and live-sellers for eCommerce performance campaigns.
- Agile creators capable of delivering 1-day video turnarounds.
- Student creators in partnership with universities, especially Gen Z and Gen Alpha talent.
- Regional creators in East Malaysia to increase geographic representation.
- Proactively identify and partner with rising creators before they break out.
2. Community-Based Partnerships
- Cultivate partnerships with high-impact cultural communities, including:
- Creator-led Community groups like @creatorsclubmy.
- Offline communities such as barbershops, fandoms, student orgs, and athletic circles.
- Integrate creators and community voices into content strategies to ensure authenticity and audience trust.
3. Scaled Campaign Supply
- Architect and manage large-scale creator programs (50+ creators per campaign) for volume-based activations.
- Support client campaigns (e.g., Unilever) through earned creator communities and grassroots engagement.
- Lead event-based initiatives that activate community and creator partnerships in real-world settings.
4. Pricing, Monetization & Partner Governance
- Develop and continuously refine creator pricing models, tiering systems, and rate card standards that protect margin and drive deal velocity.
- Oversee negotiations and commercial governance around creator partnerships, agency reps, and talent managers.
- Introduce scalable models for creator monetization beyond one-off brand dealse.g. retainers, co-owned IP, platform incentives, exclusive commercial partnerships with creators.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or talent development.
- Proven experience leading supply-side or network growth strategies.
- Deep understanding of creator culture, especially in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
- Strong network across influencer tiers, agencies, and communities.
- Strategic thinker with executional excellence able to build scalable systems while maintaining a creative edge.
- Experience working with brands on large-scale, content-driven campaigns.
- Strong project management, communication, and team leadership skills.

- Implement a Tiered Rate Card System and ensure adherence
