Reports To: Director of Sales & Marketing

Job Summary: The Director of Marketing & Communications is a commercially driven leader to lead overall hotel marketing with a focus on driving demand across Rooms and Food and Beverage. This role is responsible for developing integrated marketing strategies to support revenue growth, direct bookings, brand positioning, and Shangri-La Circle enrolments through performance driven campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all communication and marketing strategies to promotes the hotel's brand presence, ensure consistent messaging, and act as the primary spokesperson.
  • Drive campaign performance and maximize return on advertising spend through data-driven planning, budget optimization, and continuous performance analysis.
  • Support direct booking growth through website optimization, digital campaigns, conversion strategy, and targeted content initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management and Sales teams on demand planning, forecasting, promotional strategy, and integrated commercial initiatives.
  • Oversee digital reputation and campaign execution, ensuring consistent brand messaging, proactive guest engagement, and effective management of online reviews and performance metrics.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of Hospitality Marketing experiences.
  • Proficiency in English, in both oral and written.
  • Strong understanding of performance driven marketing.
  • Experience managing integrated campaigns across Rooms and Food and Beverage.
  • Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
