We are hiring for Director of Power Resources.
Responsibilities
- :Conduct high-level external liaison with Malaysia's national grid (TNB) to secure project quotas and Power Purchase Agreements (PPA)
- .Analyze Malaysia's energy policies, electricity price trends, and renewable energy certificate (REC) trading mechanisms
- .Coordinate front-end issues of power supply route projects, resolving land acquisition, right-of-way (ROW), and construction permit challenges
- .Provide risk assessment reports on Malaysia's power supply for overseas investment projects (e.g., outage frequency, voltage stability)
- .Coordinate internal technical teams to optimize substation design in compliance with TNB technical standards
.Requirements
- :Over 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to Malaysia's power utility sector
- .Strong network and connections within TNB (Malaysia National Grid) or the Energy Commission (EC)
- .Fluent English, with the ability to deliver local business presentations
- .Proficiency in Chinese will be an advantage for cross-border collaboration
