Role Description The Director of Quality is a full-time, on-site role based in Kedah, Malaysia. This role is to lead our quality transformation journey and drive a culture of Quality-at-Source, Operational Excellence and Customer Confidence across the organization. The Director of Quality collaborates closely with production, operations, supply chain and leadership teams to align quality objectives with business goals, optimize processes and reduce defects and waste.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in related discipline.

✅ 10-15 years of progressive experience in Quality or Operational Excellence, including at least 5 years in senior quality leadership roles.

✅ Proven success in leading quality transformation across the manufacturing value chain (Including QMS, Customer Quality Management, Supplier Quality Management, Audit & Compliance)

✅ Strong background in prevention-focused quality methodologies (e.g Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, Quality at Source initiatives)

✅ Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders, key customers, and cross-functional teams while challenging legacy practices and driving sustainable change.

✅ Customer-focused and data-driven, with balanced judgment across quality, cost, delivery, risk and business performance
