You will be responsible to lead the day to day operation of the Sales department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Director of Sales will be responsible to execute strategic and tactic selling activities with our top tier customers and will be working closely with the Rooms, Food and Beverage and other revenue-generating departments to maximise top line revenues through the activities of the Sales Department and while leading other employees.
Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management. Minimum 2 years account management experience as Director of Sales or 4 years as Assistant Director of Sales. Existing network of national and international DMC and Wholesale account is an asset. Strong interpersonal skills, good problem solving and administrative skills and high competency in Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint systems. Computer skills in MS Office, email, Fidelio/Delphi/RESERVE will be an asset. Fluency in spoken and written English are required.
