Role Description

This is a full-time, based at Kuala Lumpur, role for a Director of Sales MICE at PARKROYAL Penang Resort, located in Batu Ferringhi. The Director of Sales MICE will oversee all sales operations for the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE) segment, develop and execute business strategies to meet revenue goals, and build strong client relationships. This role requires extensive collaboration with different departments to ensure seamless execution of MICE events and to maintain the resort's commitment to excellence in customer experience and service. A critical component of this role is team management and driving performance to achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience and skills in Sales and Sales Operations, particularly in the hospitality or MICE sector
• Strong capabilities in Business Development with a track record of driving revenue growth
• Proficiency in Customer Service excellence and relationship management
• Experience in Team Management, including leadership and performance optimization
• Adaptable, results-oriented and able to work collaboratively within a multicultural environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field
• Familiarity with the Penang and Kuala Lumpur region is advantage
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
