Morgan Philips is exclusively partnered with an Industrial & Manufacturing MNC in their search for a Director of Supply Chain & Logistics. As the primary architect of the APAC supply chain, you will design and implement a scalable operational framework that supports regional expansion. You will lead the integration of logistics, procurement, and distribution, ensuring that supply chain is not only a cost center but a competitive advantage. This role requires a leader who can navigate the complexities of Asian trade lanes and build high-performance teams from the ground up.
Regional Strategy & Vision:
- Transform global business goals into a localized, actionable supply chain roadmap for the APAC region.
- Spearhead continuous improvement programs to bolster operational flexibility and long-term sustainability.
- Serve as the regional bridge between manufacturing plants and commercial stakeholders to synchronize market supply with customer demand.
Value-Driven Procurement
- Direct regional sourcing activities for critical materials, ensuring strict adherence to global standards while capturing local cost efficiencies.
- Cultivate a resilient supplier network based on rigorous quality benchmarks and proactive relationship management.
- Maintain a compliance-first approach to all purchasing activities, upholding corporate ethics and industry standards.
Global Logistics & Project Orchestration
- Oversee the end-to-end movement of goods, warehousing, inventory management and material flow to ensure operational efficiency and material availability for in-house customer and external customer
- Design a distribution network that optimizes lead times and minimizes the carbon footprint without compromising service quality.
- Navigate cross-border customs and local transport laws to ensure uninterrupted flow of inventory, ensuring full compliance with all customs, trade, and transportation regulations.
Who we are looking for:
- Background: 1215 years of career progression in supply chain and logistics.
- Competencies: Mastery of S&OP cycles, inventory strategy, and large-scale project management.
- Mobility & Language: Professional fluency in English (Mandarin is an advantage) and a readiness for a 20% travel schedule across the region.
