Role Description This is a full-time, Distributor Sales Specialist role based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The Distributor Sales Specialist is responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing sub-distributors while expanding sales coverage and market presence within general trade channels for FMCG products.

The role will ensure that brand and sales targets are achieved across assigned territories. Day-to-day activities include building and maintaining strong distributor relationships, conducting regular business reviews, and monitoring sell-in and sell-out performance. The role involves planning and executing sales initiatives, coordinating promotions and trade activities, and ensuring optimal product visibility across channels. The Specialist will also work closely with internal teams on forecasting, inventory alignment, pricing proposals, and reporting on market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales and Sales Management skills, with a proven ability to drive revenue growth through distributors and key accounts.
  • Experience in general trade distribution and sub-distributor management within Malaysia is Must. 
  • Customer Service and Communication skills to build trust, manage expectations, and provide clear, professional support to distributors and internal stakeholders.
  • Account Management experience, including planning, performance tracking, and conducting structured business reviews with partners.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and promotions performance to make data-informed recommendations.
  • Experience in FMCG, beauty, personal care, or related consumer goods sectors is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other sales reporting tools; familiarity with CRM or sales management systems is an advantage.
  • Capacity to work independently, prioritize multiple accounts, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
