Key Deliverables:

1. Ensure the optimal health, availability, performance, and security of all databases.
2. Provide hands-on expertise for database design, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, and other NoSQL solutions.
3. Automate routine database administration tasks and implement monitoring/alerting solutions.
4. Implement, administer, and maintain backup and recovery procedures for databases.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain data categorization, security standards, and ensure compliance.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for high-quality data availability and database updates.
3. Provide day-to-day support to IT support groups, partners, and customers as required.
4. Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and manage database software updates and patches.
