Job Summary:
People Culture Executive support the regional DOI (Diversity, Opportunity and Inclusion) and global DOI projects as assigned by the Regional Leader, DOI-APAC. Coordinate on the implementation of action plan including designing strategic communication tools, conducting research on the assigned topics and integrating it into communication tools or reports. Delivering virtual and in-person DOI training, workshops, events, and regional DOI meetings and conferences as per regional and global assignments. Responsible for reporting for regular reports as well as post-event reporting to stakeholders. Maintain a good engagement and relationship with all Hitachi group companies in the region to implement the change and new initiatives aligned with the DOI strategy in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Execution (15%): Support the execution of the regional DOI strategy. Translate global and regional DOI goals into practical initiatives for local implementation.
- High Impact Communication (20%): Develop high-quality DOI communication materials, including presentations, posters, and emails under Hitachi brand guidelines.
- Research Capability (10%): For content development, best practices, trends, compliance and market benchmarking.
- Event Organization (20%): Facilitate and host regional DOI events. Co-design and co-facilitate DOI workshops, trainings, events, and dialogue sessions.
- Ad Hoc Projects (10%): Support the ad hoc project and assignment as per the directions from the Regional DOI Leader-APAC.
- Administrative Work (25%): Training and Event (10%): Manage registration, invitation, and attendance recording. Making a summary post-event report and communication to stakeholders. Reporting (10%): Develop DOI reports on a monthly and quarterly basis for stakeholders. Vendor Management (5%): Handle vendor registration and payment processes related to DOI vendors, partners, and expenses of the DOI team.
Qualifications:
Skills & Capabilities
- Excellent communication skills in English (written, verbal, and visual).
- Strong communication skills in planning, developing presentations and visual graphic designs using PPT, Canva and AI tools.
- Good critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize multiple pieces of information in developing the DOI communication tools.
- Experience in handling multiple projects under time management and project management methodology. Very good in planning, organizing and keeping timelines.
- Inclusive mindset and behaviors, awareness of bias and open minded to work with diverse people across Hitachi. Having an international background is a plus.
- High agility to work in a rapid change environment, different time zone and unusual working hours.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Canva and other AI tools for developing communication materials.
- Good visual graphic design and development.
- Good at researching and analyzing data, proficiency in MS Excel and other tools.
