Key Skills Required:

• 4+ years of experience in .NET development
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Framework
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, Query Optimization)
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs/Web Services
• Good understanding of OOP, SDLC, and application support
• Experience with Entity Framework, GitLab, Docker, Microservices, CI/CD, RabbitMQ/Kafka is an added advantage

We are seeking a Software Developer (.NET) to join our Application Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of business-critical applications.

The ideal candidate should possess solid hands-on experience in C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and Microsoft SQL Server, with the ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and deliver quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform systems analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of business applications.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain web and windows-based applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Provide Level 2 application support and ensure smooth Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations.
• Work closely with business users, business analysts, QA teams, and project stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
• Perform impact analysis and effort estimation for enhancement requests and change requirements.
• Develop and optimize database objects including stored procedures, views, functions, and queries.
• Conduct unit testing and support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver projects on schedule and with high quality.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in software development using Microsoft technologies.
• Experience in application maintenance and production support environments.

Technical Skills:

Must have:

• Strong experience in C#, .NET Framework and .NET (ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core).
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, views, functions, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and software engineering principles.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Good to have (advantageous):

• Experience with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core.
• Knowledge of front-end web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, and jQuery.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Gitlaba source code control tool.
• Exposure to AI technologies and AI-assisted development practices will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Experience with modern software development practices including CI/CD process, Microservices, Containerization (docker).
