As a Drafter/Electrical Technician at RoviSys, you will get exposed into the exposure to all aspects of a project including both office work and spending time at client sites. You will be responsible for the design of control systems on the control panels, layout drawings and architecture drawings. You will work with a talented group of people using the latest technologies to provide innovative electrical and control solutions to our clients.
Description of work:
- Develop and prepare shop drawings for control systems including Control Room Layout, System Architecture and Network Architecture Drawings in AutoCAD.
- Develop detailed Control Panel Wiring Diagram (PLC/DDC/IO Modules) including schematics and interwiring diagrams
- Assist in the supervision of assembly and internal wiring of Control Panels at vendor workshop, ensuring compliance with IP rating and cable management standards
- Assist in supervision of termination of field devices and ensuring the quality of the cabling and wiring works by vendor
- Prepare and modify electrical panel drawings and layouts of schematics.
- Create Bills of Materials (BOM) and assist with selection of components.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure all drawings are in order as per design requirements.
- Experience both site and office work.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Engineering Technology or equivalent experiences.
- At least 1-3 years experience with CAD drafting experience
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, multimeters and labelling machines
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D) and/or Eplan is advantageous
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
