Summary
You will be responsible for assisting in the efficient operation of the Front Office during the night shift, in line with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards, while meeting the expectations of associates, guests, and owners. The Duty Manager (Night) supports the Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager in overseeing the hotel's overnight operations, ensuring smooth and seamless guest experiences. This role serves as the primary point of contact during the night for guest concerns, service recovery, and emergency situations, while providing leadership, guidance, and support to the Front Office team. The Duty Manager (Night) is also responsible for maintaining operational standards, ensuring guest and associate safety, and overseeing the completion of night audit and related administrative duties.
Qualifications
- Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open for Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia.
- Ideally with a university degree/diploma in hospitality/hotel management.
- Work experience as a Night Manager or Duty Manager within luxury hotels is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Front Office operations, including Front Desk and guest relations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations, resolve conflicts, and address guest complaints effectively.
