Job Description

Dancom Group is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Retail Marketing Assistant Manager to join our DYSON team. The Retail Marketing Assistant Manager will support the Senior Marketing Manager in executing marketing strategies that drive sales, enhance the customer shopping experience, and build the brand's presence across retail channels. This role will focus on planning, implementing, and optimizing in-store marketing campaigns, promotions, and retail partnerships, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Development and Execution

  • Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns (both online and offline) that promote retail products and drive foot traffic.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to create and deliver effective marketing materials, including digital assets, print collateral, and in-store displays.
  • Assist in managing seasonal and promotional marketing efforts to ensure successful execution within deadlines.

Market Research & Consumer Insights

  • Conduct ground research on customer behaviours, market trends, and competitor activities to inform retail marketing strategies.
  • Gather insights from customer feedback, sales data, and market research to recommend campaign optimizations.
  • Track consumer trends and suggest new opportunities for customer engagement.

Retail Partnerships & Promotions

  • Support the management of retail partnerships, including working with key vendors, influencers, and retail chains.
  • Assist in creating and implementing retail-specific promotional strategies such as discounts, loyalty programs, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Oversee in-store activation efforts such as product launches, pop-up events, and in-store promotions.

Brand Management

  • Ensure all marketing materials (digital and physical) are aligned with the brand's image, voice, and values.
  • Coordinate with internal creative and merchandising teams to ensure a cohesive in-store and online brand presence.
  • Assist in managing the visual merchandising strategy for retail locations.

Sales Performance Tracking and Reporting

  • Track and analyse the performance of retail marketing campaigns, sales initiatives, and promotions.
  • Generate monthly and ad hoc reports on campaign performance, including KPIs such as sales growth, ROI, and customer engagement.
  • Suggest changes and improvements based on performance data to achieve marketing goals.

Event Coordination

  • Assist in the planning and execution of in-store events, product launches, and other retail initiatives.
  • Coordinate logistics, manage event materials, and ensure smooth execution of events at retail locations.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams

  • Collaborate with operations manager, merchandising, and Marcom teams to align marketing efforts with retail objectives.
  • Provide support to the sales team by delivering marketing tools, resources, and training on product promotions.

What we're looking for:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in retail marketing or a related field. Experience in managing marketing campaigns or retail partnerships is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with different teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and make data-driven decisions.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position, based in Petaling Jaya.
  • Occasional travel to outstations may be required for store visits and events.
