Position: E-Commerce Associate (Junior / Senior) – Magento Platform

Language Requirement
- English: Mandatory
- Mandarin: Preferred (not mandatory if Magento experience is strong)

Role Summary
We are looking for a Junior / Senior E-Commerce Associate to support daily ecommerce operations on the Magento platform, with a strong focus on backend operations, data management, and advanced Excel usage.
This role requires high attention to detail, ownership of data accuracy, and the ability to prepare large datasets for Magento imports and updates.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Management & Excel Operations (Core Requirement)
- Consolidate and manage large ecommerce datasets from multiple sources (products, pricing, inventory, operational files).
- Clean, validate, and standardize data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Perform pre-import checks to ensure all mandatory Magento attributes and fields are complete.
- Prepare and format data files according to Magento import-ready templates.
- Execute bulk data uploads with minimal errors and strong quality control.
- Use advanced Excel functions (formulas, pivots, lookups) to automate workflows and improve efficiency.
- Utilize AI tools to support faster formula creation and data formatting, while ensuring outputs are fully validated.
- Lead data consolidation and import readiness for:
- Product launches
- Pricing updates
- Bulk catalog updates
- Improve templates, reporting, and process flows using Excel formulas or VBA.
- Guide junior team members and ensure quality across deliverables (Senior level).
2. Magento Backend Operations
- Support daily backend operations of the Magento ecommerce platform.
- Manage:
- Product listing updates
- Category and catalog maintenance
- CMS pages and content blocks
- Ensure updates are applied under the correct store view scope.
- Verify frontend output after backend changes.
- Support basic cache refresh and index updates when required.
3. Product, Pricing & Launch Support
- Support product registration and backend setup aligned with launch timelines.
- Manage product visibility and go-live readiness.
- Assist with pricing updates, promotions, and bulk pricing uploads when required.
4. Cross-Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure ecommerce tasks are executed smoothly, accurately, and on time.
- Communicate data issues, risks, and dependencies proactively.
Required Competencies (Must Have)
- Strong experience in data management and Excel-based operations.
- Proficiency in Excel formulas/functions and handling large datasets.
- Ability to consolidate, clean, validate, and format data for Magento imports.
- Strong attention to detail with ownership of data accuracy and output quality.
- Experience supporting ecommerce operations.
- Magento backend experience is a plus.
Nice to Have
- VBA / macros experience for automation.
- Experience handling bulk product, pricing, and inventory updates.
- Exposure to ecommerce launch or catalog migration activities.
