Job Description

Job Summary

The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for the planning, development, and execution of our online sales strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of e-commerce trends, digital marketing, and user experience. The ideal candidate will drive the growth of our online presence, optimize the customer journey, and maximize sales and profitability through various online channels.

Responsibilities

E-Commerce Strategy

  • Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy in alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the online shopping experience.

Website Management

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the company's e-commerce website.
  • Ensure the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
  • Collaborate with IT and web development teams to implement new features and enhancements.

Product Management

  • Manage the online product catalogue, including product listings, descriptions, and images.
  • Implement pricing and promotion strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with relevant teams to ensure product availability.

Digital Marketing

  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and boost online sales.
  • Utilize various digital marketing channels, including email marketing, social media, paid advertising, and content marketing.
  • Analyse campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments to optimize results.
  • Lead the development and continuous enhancement of mobile applications to drive superior user experience and maximize conversion performance
  • Work cross-functionally with IT and product teams to improve UI/UX, deliver new features, and optimize app performance
  • Drive integrated marketing strategies across app and web channels, including CRM, push notifications, and retention optimization
  • Utilize app analytics and user behavior data to identify opportunities and implement continuous optimization initiatives

Customer Experience

  • Optimize the online customer journey, from browsing to checkout, to enhance user experience.
  • Implement and improve customer service processes for online inquiries and issues.
  • Gather and analyse customer feedback to make improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to e-commerce performance.
  • Generate regular reports to provide insights into sales trends, customer behaviour, and website performance.
  • Use data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies for growth.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, IT, and customer service, to ensure alignment of e-commerce strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors, agencies, and partners to enhance e-commerce capabilities.
  • Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to drive optimization of inventory management, fulfilment operations, and delivery performance

Security and Compliance

  • Ensure the security and compliance of the e-commerce platform, including payment processing and customer data protection.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and implement necessary measures to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an E-Commerce Manager or similar role in retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and trends.
  • Proficient in web analytics tools and digital marketing platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with SEO, SEM, and online advertising strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing and improving e-commerce warehouse operations, including KPI management and productivity optimization
  • Proven track record in optimizing logistics and fulfillment processes or achieving cost reductions in supply chain operations
  • Experience in managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers is a plus
