Job Description

This is not just an operations manager role. This is the foundation of a path to becoming the COO of a multi-brand e-commerce company doing 7 figures in annual revenue with ambitions to reach 8 figures this year.

We are building the leadership team that will take this company to the next level. If you prove yourself in this role, you will grow into Head of Operations and eventually COO sitting at the leadership table, helping shape the direction of the business, and running everything that isn't marketing and product. The right person will have more responsibility, more ownership, and more compensation than any traditional ops role could offer.

We're not hiring a task doer. We're hiring the person who will eventually run this company alongside the founder.

What You'll Own:

  • Day-to-day operations across 2 DTC brands ensuring smooth order fulfillment and operational efficiency
  • Full coordination with our 3PL/fulfillment partners in China and the US shipping holds, invoice verification, quality checks, and production timelines
  • Inventory forecasting, reorder timelines, and purchase order coordination with manufacturers in China
  • Customer escalation decisions using our SOPs refunds, delays, compensation, and chargeback prevention
  • Managing and holding accountable a Philippines-based CX team of remote VAs
  • Agency and contractor check-ins keeping deliverables on track across Meta ads, Amazon, and creator outreach
  • Building and maintaining operational dashboards to track key metrics including stock levels, fulfillment speed, and operational performance
  • Weekly reporting on operational KPIs fulfillment timelines, support response times, inventory levels, and cash flow requirements
  • Developing and documenting SOPs so that when something breaks twice it never breaks a third time
  • Keeping the founder out of the weeds and only pulled in for decisions that actually need him

What You'll Own:

You're a Great Fit If:

  • You have 4+ years of experience at a managerial or head level in operations, supply chain, or logistics
  • You've worked in e-commerce or DTC businesses before Shopify, fulfillment, supplier coordination
  • You have strong experience with inventory forecasting, stock planning, and international supply chain coordination
  • You've worked directly with 3PLs and manufacturers in China
  • You're obsessively organized and nothing falls through the cracks on your watch
  • You communicate clearly and confidently across different cultures and timezones
  • You think in systems not just solutions
  • You're proficient in Google Sheets or Excel for tracking and reporting
  • You want to grow, not just collect a paycheck

Bonus if you:

  • Experience with Shopify-based brands
  • Familiarity with cross-border shipping and international logistics
  • Are a chinese speaker

Growth Path:

  • Now: Operations Manager building systems, managing the team, owning execution
  • Year 1-2: Head of Operations owning the entire operational backbone of the business
  • Year 2-3: COO sitting at the leadership table, running everything that isn't marketing and product, and helping shape the future of the company

The right person won't just fill this role they'll outgrow it and take on more.

Compensation & Details:

  • Base Salary: RM 4,500 RM 7,000/month depending on experience
  • Performance Bonus: Monthly bonus of RM 500 RM 1,500 tied to hitting operational KPIs including zero stockouts, fulfillment speed, chargeback rate, and customer satisfaction targets
  • Remote: Full-time, fully remote
  • Hours: Overlap with US EST required for part of the day
  • Growth: Direct access to the founder, a clear path to COO, and compensation that grows with your responsibilities
